Covid 19

To all our clients:

During this difficult time, Towson Veterinary Hospital is working hard to ensure both the health of our pets, and the health and safety of our clients, staff and our community. To that end, we have made some significant changes to our protocols.

Effective immediately...

If you have a fever, any signs of COVID-19, or have been sick in the past 14 days, please call to cancel your appointment and stay at home.

When you arrive, please remain in your vehicle and call the front desk to check in at (410) 825-8880. Describe the vehicle you are in and wait there until we are ready to see your pet. We are asking pet owners not to enter the building.

Dogs must be leashed, and cats must be in a carrier. We are requesting, but not requiring that dogs be bathed the day before their appointment.

We will not accept any physical paperwork. Please respond to the email we sent you when you scheduled your appointment. If you did not receive the email within 24 hours of scheduling, please call us. Other documents can be scanned by your phone and emailed to us with the free app Adobe Scan.

All paperwork/records must be received by the hospital prior to your visit.

When we are ready to see your pet, we will be out to get him/her. The doctor will call you after we do our assessment to discuss our findings, get additional information and discuss any recommendations. Please remain on site during the examination.

Once completed, reception will call you to complete payment. During this time, we are asking all our clients to pay with credit cards and not use cash or checks.

Pet owners who refuse to follow these new protocols will be asked to reschedule when the guidelines are no longer in place.

It is our goal to maintain the highest patient care while minimizing risk to our clients and staff. We appreciate your understanding and cooperation.

Sincerely,

The doctors and staff of Towson Veterinary Hospital
We want to let our clients know that we are taking the concerns of the Coronavirus (COVID-19) very seriously and are closely monitoring this rapidly evolving situation. The safety and health of our community, including our loyal clients, dedicated staff, and of course our four-footed family members is always of the utmost importance to us.

The staff here at Towson Veterinary Hospital is doing everything possible to keep our clients and employees safe, while continuing to deliver the best experience possible.

To that end, our entire patient care team is practicing heightened personal hygiene and in addition to our regular cleaning schedule, we are taking additional steps to clean our facility?s community areas more frequently throughout the day.

We have modified our schedule to minimize the number of people in our waiting room at any given time and are offering the option of having clients call upon arrival and waiting in their car in the parking lot until they are ready to be seen.

Our facility remains open. We will continue to actively review the direction provided by the Center for Disease Control, as well as our local government, and will update our website regarding any changes.

We encourage any clients who want to get a jump on any upcoming vaccinations to give us a call to schedule. Please feel free to contact us if you have any specific questions or special needs.

Sincerely,

The doctors and staff of Towson Veterinary Hospital
